How To Connect Wood What Are Some Ways To Connect 2 Wood Sticks?

What are some ways to connect 2 wood sticks? - how to connect wood

I'm doing a school project and needs about 60 cm thin strips of wood. we can only use up to 30 cm, but we can come to us in touch. What are some ways to do to stay strong?

Cut a "U" notch at one end, which is the thickness of the piece. Do the same in the other room, then (they come in contact, such as connecting two "U" together). Use glue to them stronger.

Some details about the size of the sticks and how to get in touch, face to face, to the edge of the edge, end to end, etc.
I do not want with super glue, at least a basic white glue, and depending on the final application, something like the tail of waterproof glue yellow or brown, these are the best drink for porous surfaces like wood glue into the pores of the wood dries it shrinks and it has built and pieces together.

Get a piece of hose and drag the title and add them all in place.
